D & H/United is a Verifone Authorized Service Contractor (VASC). We can enable service techinicians to become Ruby Verifone & HPV-20 certified in order to complete new installation, warranty, repair work, and perform software upgrades.

General Information:

  • Prior to registering for Ruby classroom certification program, students must have successfully completed the Ruby Pre-Course Certification. Information regarding this program can be found on Verifone's Premier Portal. (click here)
  • All students must pass a Ruby VASC Entrance Exam on the first day of class, should they fail it is recommended that the student not stay for the remainder of the course period. Tuition will be forfeited.
  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before classes begin will result in the option to reschedule or the tuition will be credited to your account. Cancellations or rescheduling made 14 days or less in advance of class date will result in forfeiture of tuition.
  • Please remember all expenses (hotels, meals, transportation, etc.) are the responsibility of the attending student.

    • Resistration:

  • To register for the Ruby/Sapphire-Topaz VASC Classroom Certification simply complete the Student Information Form and the Order Form located on the last page of the Registration Packet (below). Fax both to Terri Watson at (210)507-0960.

    • Note: Please do not make travel arrangements until a confirmation letter has been received.

    • Required Materials:

  • Laptop* (Please ensure the laptop has the required programs listed installed PRIOR to attendance)
  • Ruby Manager & HASP Key
  • VASC Service Manual (Most current copy)
  • Ruby Tutor (Cashier CD)

    • *Laptop Hardware Requirements (minimum):

  • Pentium II, 450MHz
  • 128MB or RAM
  • 1GB Hard Drive
  • 9-pin Serial Port (Male Connection)
    • Many laptop are no longer manufactured with a 9-pin serial port, should this be the case there are several options including:
    -USB to Serial Converter
    -PCMCIA Serial Card
    -Express Card
  • 25-Pin Parallel Port or USB Port (for Ruby Manager HASP Key)
  • 500MB of Hard Drive Space

    • *Laptop Software Requirements (minimum):

  • Windows 2000, XP, or Vista
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher)
  • Adobe Reader 6.0 (or higher)
  • WinZip
  • GemStall v2.11 or 2.52
  • Ruby Applications - CitPak and BuyPak (most current version on Premier Portal)
  • Ruby Manager v1.43 or 1.53 with HASP Key

    • *Students must have working device PRIOR to attending Ruby VASC Classroom Certification
